The United States qualified for the World Cup's second round with a 28-point victory over Greece.

On Monday night at the Mall of Asia Arena, Team USA breezed through Greece 109-81 to advance to the second round of the 2023 Fiba World Cup, taking place in the Philippines.

The Americans relied on a well-rounded offense to beat the Greeks for a second straight Group C victory, and their heroes came in abundance.

The Americans built a 31-point lead because to strong performances from starters Anthony Edwards and Jalen Brunson and a consistent boost from reserve Austin Reaves.

After opening with a win against Jordan, Greece was unable to keep up the momentum and now finds itself with a 1-1 record.

The Greeks started the scoring with four points, but the Americans came storming back.

With just under three minutes remaining, Walker Kessler capped off the scoring feast with a putback slam,

making it a perfect 12 for the Americans, all of whom scored. Nine players scored in double figures.

Every game, we go into with the intention of wearing the other team down. With a roster that deep, Team USA head coach Steve Kerr can focus on applying constant pressure to the opposition.
