Jelena Djokovic, who is married to Novak Djokovic, expressed gratitude to tennis journalist Caira Conner
for the gushing plaudits that she had heaped on her husband in advance of the 2023 US Open.
The piece that was written by Conner and published in the New York Magazine Intelligencer made comparisons between
the sensitive playing style of the Serb and Artificial Intelligence.
It started out by bringing up the World No. 2's competition with his younger opponent, Carlos Alcaraz, who is 16 years old.
Conner noted that although though the 23-time Grand Slam champion was defeated by Alcaraz in the final of this year's Wimbledon Championships,
his comeback triumph in the Cincinnati Open championship fight against the Spaniard
was comparable to an AI's rigorous research of his opponent. Conner made this comparison since the Spaniard had previously won the Cincinnati Open.
