Kim Cattrall has said that she learned to stand up for herself and to never
"allow others to control my narrative" from her mother, who passed away when Kim was young.
The former actress of "Sex and the City" has spoken up about her relationship with her mother Shane,
who passed away in December 2022 at the age of 93. She said that her mother was her "
and that she helped her daughter develop into a self-reliant and powerful adult woman. Shane died in December 2022.
The actress, who is now 67 years old, gave the following explanation in an interview with Vogue Greece:
